Frequently asked questions
What features does Feedboon include?
Feedboon includes point-and-click bug reporting, automatic screenshot capture, console error capture, status-colored pins with realtime sync, a Kanban board with drag-and-drop, MCP integration for Claude Code, Cursor, and OpenCode, role-based team access, and a REST API with key-based authentication.
Does Feedboon work with my framework?
Feedboon works with any website or web application. It installs via a single script tag and runs in a Shadow DOM, so there are no CSS or JavaScript conflicts. It works with Next.js, React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, plain HTML, WordPress, and any other framework or CMS.
How does MCP integration work?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets AI code editors interact with external tools. The Feedboon MCP server gives Claude Code, Cursor, and OpenCode access to your bug reports including screenshots, console errors, browser metadata, and element selectors. You can list bugs, view details, update statuses, and add comments from your editor.
Is the Feedboon widget heavy?
No. The Feedboon widget is under 15kb gzipped. It loads asynchronously and runs inside a Shadow DOM, so it does not affect your page performance or styles. No browser extensions or heavy SDKs are required.
What browsers does the widget support?
The Feedboon widget works in all modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. It supports both desktop and mobile viewports.
Can visitors report bugs without signing up?
Yes. Feedboon supports a public feedback mode where anyone can submit bug reports without creating an account. This is useful for collecting feedback from clients, testers, or end users who should not need a login.
